All Speakers Speaker Adrián de Marcos López Position: Company: Magoga Gastronomía Since childhood, Adrián de Marcos (Madrid, 1987) has been deeply connected to the world of gastronomy. By the age of ten, he was already the unofficial cook at home, and at 19, he took the definitive step upon discovering Karlos Arguiñano’s Hospitality School. He quickly enrolled at AIALA in Zarautz, where he met María Gómez. Since then, they’ve been inseparable. After working in the kitchens of Zuberoa and Arzak—his first true challenges—and serving as head chef in Madrid restaurants, he decided to embark on his own journey with María in Cartagena. That’s how Magoga was born. There, he realized the importance of stepping out of the kitchen to become the head of service and sommelier, staying true to his motto: “treat your customer with the same care you would a mother.” His dedication has earned him awards such as Best Sommelier in the Murcia Region and the Q de Quesos for Best Restaurant Cheese Menu.
