Carlos Maldonado

Carlos won MasterChef 3 and completely changed his life. From there, he went on to train in the culinary arts at the Basque Culinary Center, completing a Master’s in Cooking, Technique, and Product.

In 2017, Carlos launched his most serious gastronomic project, Raíces.

In 2020, he earned his first MICHELIN STAR and soon after placed Restaurante Raíces among the 25 BEST RESTAURANTS IN EUROPE, according to Tripadvisor.

In 2023, after renewing his Michelin star, he inaugurated the training restaurant Semillas, aimed at social inclusion.
