Helena Burstedt

Helena is currently the Regional Vice President of Expansion for Iberia at Hyatt and the President of the Mujeres in Hospitality Association. Before joining Hyatt, she managed the hotel portfolio at Aliseda Inmobiliaria (owned by Blackstone and Banco Santander) and was Executive Director of Transaction Real Estate at EY, leading the hotel departments at JLL and Knight Frank.

In her current role, she leads Hyatt’s expansion in Iberia and Andorra. She is experienced in team leadership, decision-making, and business plan execution.

She is a professor at the renowned IE Business School and the IE School of Architecture and Design and is frequently invited as a moderator and panelist at conferences and other events.

She studied at the Stockholm School of Economics, L’École des Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC) in Paris, and Cornell University.
