Maira Cantallops

Born in Arenys de Munt and raised in Berga, where she started in gastronomy. There, she realized that the hospitality world fascinated her. She entered the Hotel and Tourism School of Barcelona (EHTB) in September 2018 and there she confirmed that this was truly what she wanted to dedicate herself to and continue studying. At 20 years old, she started as a waitress at Mont Bar and in 2022 became the maître.
In 2024 she help with the reopening of Barro.
She has also gained experience through internships at three-star restaurants such as Lasarte (Barcelona) and Frantzén (Stockholm).
She is currently the maître at Varra.
