Sergio Mellado

Sergio Mellado has been the Corporate Director of F&B at Catalonia Hotels & Resorts for 21 years. He holds a TEAT from the Official School of Tourism of Madrid, a Hotel Management Diploma from Sant Pol de Mar, a Master in Food & Beverage from Cornell-Essec and Sant Pol de Mar, and an Executive MBA from EAE. With 30 years of experience in Europe and America, he has led operations at Areas, Paradís Restaurants, Radisson Hotels, and TGI Friday’s. An expert in diverse restaurant concepts, he developed Catalonia’s corporate F&B department, prioritizing quality, profitability, and effective management. He is also the author of “Rooms on the Menu.”
